“This fine camera shot of a Canadian paratrooper was taken by Harry Rowed, general supervisor of the Photo Services Department of the National Film Board.  The shot was made at Fort Benning, Georgia, when Canadian paratroopers were in training there.  The picture was chosen by the Chicago Salon last year for its permanent collection, as one of the 10 best photographs of the year.”
